WHY THIS FLOOR

A stall, not a warehouse

Most unused things never get a public price. They sit in a drawer until someone throws them out. Flea Market is a stall: one name, one photo, one note, one ask. The listing stake is 0.01 BOT so hanging is a real action, and takeDown is a real exit while nobody has bought.

There is no image server. The browser shrinks the photo to a small JPEG and the contract stores that string. Buyers see the same bytes the chain holds. You cannot buy your own lot. The lead cannot pull someone else’s hanging stake.

JOB · LOT MOVE

How a lot moves

  1. 01 List

Send a name, a compressed photo, a note, and an ask of at least 0.01 BOT, plus the 0.01 BOT listing stake. The lot appears on the floor.

  2. 02 Hang

The lot stays hanging until a buy or a takeDown. You cannot buy it yourself. Anyone else can pay the listed ask.

  3. 03 Buy or take down

A buyer’s payment goes to the seller. takeDown refunds the listing stake if the lot is still hanging. A sold lot keeps the stake as the floor fee.

DESKS

Who hangs here

People with one unused object and a price, not a storefront. A cable, a book, a spare tool — listed with a photo small enough to live on BOT Chain.

Buyers who want a public ask they can pay in one transaction. Sellers who need an exit if nobody takes the lot: takeDown, same wallet, same stake back.

FAQ

Questions on the floor

What do I pay to list?

Exactly 0.01 BOT. That is a hanging stake, not a sale. If the lot is still hanging, takeDown sends it back.

Where does the photo go?

This page resizes it to a small JPEG data URI (under 8000 bytes) and the contract stores that string. There is no upload server.

Can I buy my own lot?

No. The contract rejects a buy from the seller.

What happens after a sale?

The buyer’s ask goes to the seller. The 0.01 BOT listing stake stays in the contract as the floor fee and cannot be refunded.

Which chain is this?

BOT Chain mainnet, chainId 677, native BOT. Explorer: scan.botchain.ai.

Can the lead take my lot down?

No. Only the seller can takeDown, and only while the lot is hanging. collect only moves balance above reserved hanging stakes.

Roadmap

NOW

Public floor, list / buy / takeDown, compressed on-chain photos, 0.01 BOT listing stake.

NEXT

Clearer lot history on the floor: hanging, sold, and taken-down chips without adding contract admin.

LATER

Filter the floor by hanging vs sold, still reading only from the contract.

BEYOND

Keep fees fixed. Any change to the stall is a new deployment, not a switch on this one.

Put it on the floor

One unused object, a photo, an ask, and 0.01 BOT to hang. If nobody buys, takeDown returns the stake — that is the exit.
